We're planning on going, but whether we actually make it is a bit more uncertain.

The forum wont let me post a direct link yet, but please see -

What's the score with the "tasting tokens" ?
I assume one token for one taste - so in effect, you're paying for the tasters. Is this how it works at other beer festivals ?

So the Bavarian Beer Breakfast is $25($50), when you consider that the "Day Release" entry otherwise (with glass && tokens) is $25.

Do they allow kids in ? I can't see "Fantasy Cupcakes" getting much business without them.
... Ah, under [Stuff], Sunday is "Family Day".

$1 will buy you one ticket

1 ticket will get you a 100ml sample 1/2 glass
2 tickets will get you 200ml or a full glass.

I made it on the Sunday.

All the usual breweries were there.
Murray's had a swag of high alcohol IPA's as usual
Potters and Hunter Brewers had a whole heap of unusual one offs
Even Blue Tongue had their own internal home brew club put beers on which were good.

It was a stinking hot day, and the dark and hoppy beers were not what I felt like drinking.

My fav beers of the day was the sour cherry beer, from Potters, and the Mango Wheat from Matso's.
So yeah fruit beers were the standout that day.

I saw someone else from here... James I think. But I really drank a shit ton and made a mess of myself, and so I cant be sure I got the name right. Apologies.

TL:DR
Was good - got hammered
