April Meetup this Sunday!

Hi Everyone,
In case you missed out, there is another meetup this coming Sunday 3pm at the Long Jetty park.

We will be holding our inaugural brew competition - Pale ale. So bring one along if you've got one. If you don't turn up anyway and you can judge our efforts. If you have an entry, bring it along on Sunday. If you can't make it and still want to enter - You can drop off at Duanes shop at Toukley or my place at Gosford (Near the hospital, PM me for the address).

Everyone is welcome as usual - friends, wives and kids.

The weather turned out alright in the end, didn't it? Oh well, I am making the most of the sun and brewing outside this afternoon - Another Munich Dunkel like the case swap beer I made.

As for another meeting, I won't be able to make another one till mid June, but if someone wants to get in contact with the Six string guys, they are pretty keen to have us around one day.

It would be a great opportunity to attract more members - they have a pretty large facebook following, so if they posted that we were coming and a call out for other Central Coast Homebrewers, we may get a few new people turning up. I had a brief chat to Chris, their brewer yesterday and we could organise a day when he's brewing and he can go through his process and show us how its done.

Only problem is that we can't bring our own beer.

I was also thinking we should see if we can organise a venue to meetup that is a bit more weather friendly. The park is great in summer, but with winter approaching, somewhere a little warmer and sheltered might be the go. Perhaps a community hall or something?
Any thoughts?
